Polyvine Metal Leaf Acrylic Size is a specialist adhesive designed for applying metal leaf and foil to a variety of interior surfaces. Ideal for decorative painters and finishers, it offers a smooth application and extended open time—up to 24 hours when applied thinly—allowing for precise control over large or detailed gilding projects.

Application Instructions:

1. Prepare Surface: Make sure the area is clean, dry, and sealed if porous.

2. Apply Size: Use a quality brush to apply a thin, even layer of adhesive.

3. Wait to Tack: Allow 15+ minutes for the surface to go clear and become tacky.

4. Apply Leaf or Foil: Press your metal leaf or foil into the tacky surface.

5. Finish: Once cured, seal with a clear varnish for added protection, if desired.
