-

🧰 Application Tips:
Apply 2–3 coats with a synthetic brush. Allow 1–2 hours between coats. Cures fully in 16 hours.
This varnish is a high-performance solution for amateurs and professionals needing a durable, clear finish on interior wood surfaces.
Appearance: Polyvine varnishes may appear milky white, cloudy, or clear in liquid form—this is completely normal and varies based on the finish type (gloss, satin, or dead flat). Once dry, they become crystal clear, exceptionally durable, and deliver the intended sheen level.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: Does Polyvine Heavy Duty Wood Varnish have an odor?
No. This varnish is water-based and has very low odor, making it easy to apply indoors without the need for masks or extra ventilation.
Q2: Is it food safe once cured?
Yes. All Polyvine varnishes are considered food safe once fully cured (typically within 5–7 days). Polyvine Heavy Duty Wood Varnish is considered food safe. It’s ideal for kitchen tables, wood counters, and areas used around children.
Q3: Why are two coats of Satin recommended before applying Dead Flat?
Satin contains the full range of protective properties — high resistance to water, heat, abrasion, chemicals, and stains. Dead Flat provides the matte look but has reduced protection. Layering Satin under Dead Flat gives you the best of both: durability and a non-shiny finish.
