Polyvine’s Classic Colour Scumble is a clear acrylic glaze with a full one-hour working time, offering unmatched control for creating elegant, semi-transparent finishes. It’s the only glaze of its kind with this extended open time.

Mix with satin or matte latex paint to produce decorative effects on walls, furniture, and more. Ideal for faux finish techniques like:

Drying Times:

• Base coat: minimum 24 hours

• Top coat: minimum 48 hours before sealing

For best durability, apply Polyvine Decorators Varnish (gloss, satin, or dead flat) after 48 hours.

Application Tips:

• Use vinyl silk or satin latex for the base coat; let dry 24 hours.

• Mix ratio (Scumble to latex paint):

  • Warm/dry conditions: 6:1

  • Cool/humid conditions: 4:1

• Apply with brush or roller; then break the surface with a rag, sponge, bag, or specialty tool.

• Always test adhesion and the effect before full application.

Additional Info:
