Polyvine is a family-owned business with expertise in high-end varnishes, decorative finishes, wood oils, and coatings, all researched, developed, and manufactured with care at their UK premises. Built on longevity, Polyvine is grounded in family values like trust, integrity, and hard work.

Founded in 1986 by Peter and Anne Wells, Polyvine remains a family enterprise, with three generations of the Wells family actively involved at their offices and factory in Cheddar. Peter, now technical director, works alongside his grandson Joe in the laboratory, sharing his years of knowledge and experience. His granddaughter Beth manages the sales office, while Ian Wells, MD, oversees day-to-day operations, joined by his wife and children across various departments. With even extended family members on the team, Polyvine truly embodies a commitment to family values and the integrity that drives their business success.
